Meet Laurie Parris
My first exposure to immigration started when I was working in the Fashion Industry as a fashion designer. It was there while working with migrants and temporary workers who had come to Canada to work, I learnt their stories as they became my friends. I heard about their goal of Canadian Permanent Residence and how so many of them had left behind their spouses and children to start building a life in Canada. Despite this, they were always focused on their goal, to build a life in Canada and bring their families together again.
Choosing to build your life in another country is a big decision, it’s an emotional struggle, and a financial commitment. Some parts are going to be exciting while other parts are going to be down right frustrating, overwhelming, and lonely.
I’ve lived overseas in Cambodia, traveled extensively with my work to many areas of South East Asia, Eastern Africa, and South America and I’ve sponsored my own spouse to become a Canadian citizen. I’ve been right where you are right now, thinking it through, wondering how to begin.
If you are ready to build your life in Canada, to put down roots here, then I’m the consultant for you.
I’ve been helping people navigate their Canadian immigration journey since 2015, first as the Executive Director of a Government Immigration Settlement Agency and now in private practice since 2019.
I will prepare you for what comes next. I'll prepare you for what you will see in your immigration journey, counsel you on how to reach your objectives, answer your questions and research on your behalf. I will support you to be successful with your immigration goals. We will be a team as I guide you on this amazing journey, allowing you to be focused on your Canadian goal for yourself and your family.
I will help you put down roots and build your life in Canada.

Meet Corey Clamp
Corey’s connections with Canadian immigration are numerous. The son of a refugee, and raised by a single-mother, Corey grew up in a small French Acadian fishing village in Southwest Nova Scotia and learned at an early age about the challenges faced by new arrivals in Canada. Despite these challenges, Corey graduated top of his class and went on to complete a BA in political science and international development studies at Dalhousie University (1999), and a law degree at the University of New Brunswick (2002).
Corey's professional career started at the law offices of McInnes Cooper where he was an articling student. In 2003, while still articling, he was offered a position as a foreign service officer with Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). Corey’s time with CIC took him to Ghana, India, Vietnam, and beyond. Those years spent working as a decision maker for CIC impressed upon him the importance of preparation and organization when it comes to dealing with government decision makers. Through his career, Corey has seen time and again the value that comes with seeking professional advice when navigating complex Canadian federal and provincial rules.
Having recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University, Corey is eager to use his valuable skillsets to help others looking to visit, work, or immigrate to Canada. Fluently bilingual (English-French), a parent to 3 young boys, and a product of immigration himself, Corey is proud to be a part of the LDP team, working to bring your Canadian dreams alive today.
